I'm a wife and a mother of 4. I began my 'journey' at 149+ kilos. 8 weeks ago i finally broke the magical barrier of 130 that had confounded me for so long and weighed in at 129.2. Stupid me though, i self sabotaged again and let family issues close me off to the world and i am now 134.6 again and rareing to do anything it takes to get back into new territory.

Tuesday, 29th Jan 2008

Well i did it and it wasn't as hard as i thought it was. I did my first day of week 3 of C25K. I thought it woiuld be worse than it was. Plus it on top of a major bloat i have got which i find amazing seeing as i have gotten the bloat AFTER TTOTM. Weird.
I was supposed to start week 3 last night but was feeling a bit ill. I went on a walk with my kids today. It is the l;ast day of school hols for us, so that on top of my workout has meant i have surpassed my 10,000 steps for the day. My calves are really sore due to step yesterday. I felt crippled and wasn't sure i could even do it tonight but i think my calves feel better for it. Can't wait to finish week 3 to get another thumbs up

So proud!

Well i finally did it. I finished week 2 of C25K. As stated in my previous blog i'll be redoing this one again next week due to a lot of wheezing. But this time i didn't even feel dizzy and i only had the wheeze for the last 2 runs which shows i guess that i am just getting used to it. But guess what that means. A big THUMBS UP!

C25K wk2dy2.

OK. So i just did week 2, day 2 of C25K. I think ill have to redo this week next week. When i was younger i had asthma, not too bad. No inhaler or anything for when i couldn't breathe, but i was on 2 different turbihalers. 1 for morn and night and 1 for half an hour before sport. Well i thought it was age that stopped it but maybe it was lack of exercise
I did notice when i first started doing my step dvd and my Tae bo one i would get a wheeze but i really noticed it today and by the time i finished i was feeling a little dizzy. Not to worry, as my fitness improves i am sure i will be able to do more and if i notice too much wheezing then i guess it'll be back to the docs to get everything checked. I am still hoping that i have grown out of it and it'll get better. Either way i'll do this week again. No probs. 1 more time to earn my thumbs up!

Yayyyyyy.

Today is the first time i have checked in for the year. I am down 1.8 That means just another 200g to work off the chrissie weight
I'm feeling really blah about it. Maybe because before christmas i was a bit lighter than this. Maybe once i get under that weight i feel feel a little happier. Either way it's the first time i've lost alomost 2kg and i don't feel like shouting it from the rooftops.
I'm coming up with new things to try and keep me motivated. Little charts where i cross of things and such. Just visual aids to keep me enthused. I have logged my food in consistently for the last week which has been different. Compared to the sporadic entering i have been up to the last few months.
My water has been good every day as well. I am hitting my full quota. Gotta flush that sodium.

View THAMLORE's food & exercise for this day

I was too busy to blog this yesterday but i finally found my way to week 2 of C25K. Yayyy me I have done the first week a few times now but never made it to week 2. And boy did i feel ill. I knew i was going to be busy in the evening and so straight after dinner it was 'Do it now or wait til tomorrow'. I wasn't putting it off and when i was finishing up i could feel my food start to rise. Mmmmmmm....not! Wont be doing that again.
So i hope on friday i can add a big thumbs up to my list next to finish week 2 of C25K.
I spent today at Monash medical center with my sister and her children. Just specialist checkups but with all the hospital visits i have endured since October with first myself, then eldest daughter, then second eldest daughter, now this i haven't been able to see one single doc without having to wait less than an hour and a half over my appointment time. Todays was 3 hours, and i am talking of at least 20 visits, probably more. I have had enough and if another child hurts themselves i am going out on strike!.........well after taking them to emergency
I'm tired and feel very fluidy today. I can really tell in my fingers but i am feeling really good about myself lately so that's all good.

New year.

Seeing a few positive changes after the chrissie period. One being to get straight back on the wagon after the 3 days i had allocated myself which i told my fellow groupies i was planning on having. Was proud of myself for that. I'm also back into exercise mode with a restart of C25K. I've lost 4 cms off of allover in the last month. I do these measurements on my first weigh in of the month and a massive 52.5 cms off allover since i started back in May last year. WOW, it looks good looking back that far. My top 3 losses are 14cm off the hips, 12 off the waist and 4.5 off the butt. Now just to lose some pesky breast area, i can afford it.
Starting next week i plan to redo the CK university reading only 1 page a day. I stuck to doing it week by week last year but i want to concentrate on one page a day to keep my mojo flowing and for everything to sink in.
